This water colour of a Thunderbird Halifax, making its way over All Saint's Church, was presented to 426 RCAF Squadron Association by Mr Guy Jefferson, BEM, and the villagers of Newton-on-Ouse, 1996. Artist: June Jefferson. The painting was then presented to the active squadron and is currently displayed beside the Standard, Dishforth Building, Trenton. Mr Jefferson was the proposer and manager of the memorial project at Newton-on-Ouse .
